'Trance-Forms: I Am My Language' was a devised, collaborative theatre production in 2017 that brought together 14 performing artists from across the UAE, weaving together dance, music and classical texts from Arabic, French and Indian literature as well stories from the artists' life. Directed by Marcel Bozonnet and Caroline Marcadé, this first of its kind initiative was part of the “Emirati-French Cultural Programme: Dialogue with the Louvre Abu Dhabi”, supported by Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority, the French Embassy in the UAE and Institut français.
